Yes, Operation USPS Ninja Stake Out was a success! Luckily Mom came home just as the mailman pulled into the driveway, so he managed to hand my package from[livejournal.com profile] cestlavieminakoto her directly...though she in turn gave it to me foaming at the mouth and going "Don't ever have friends send you stupid stuff again! Do you want them all to murder us in our beds, now that they know where we live?! >_<" Paranoid parents are paranoid. I know it's dangerous, I know! I'm always careful about who my information goes to. Very careful. It's another reason why I sign even petitions online with my online names too, and if they ask for my address, I just go "WHAT ARE YOU, CRAZY?!" and run in the other direction.  Unless it's a job application, where I have to give employers some way of contacting me >_>".

But this package is awesome. Priority mail is supposed to take 2 to 3 days, and yet I got it in one. BOOYAH! >:)

URRRRRRRRRRGH! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNRRRRRRF!! HUFF PUFF... So...much...tape... XD Minako, you darn near mummified the poor box. :P

Anyway, it's nothing a utility knife or box cutter can't open....or a sword. XD Also, I see there's a envelope and card for me. AW. Thanks! ^_^

Want to see what was inside? Click below the cut for the goodies...and random hijinks.

Pinkie is happy to have made a new friend. :D I got this in the package as a bonus. YAY! Chibi Jayden looks so kawaii with his huge non-bobble-able head, even though he lacks detail and can't even stand up without a helping hoof. ^^; He also came with not one, not two, but three trading cards. Unfortunately you can only complete the picture shown if you collect the other Rangers. Whatever. Maybe I'll finish the collection, maybe not. I hate PR Samurai so much, it's not even funny. >_>"

Other sides of the trading cards, the right one with the Beetle Zord is actually the same design as the Ranger Strike card produced in Japan (yes, there's a Power Rangers TCG in Japan. Bandai, stop plagiarizing from your own source material! >:P)

Also included was Petey the Ptera Candroid and a Japanese arcade game card (called Ganbaride). Fortunately it requires a special game machine that's not available in the US. BOO. I guess I'll be taking this with me to Tokyo in the future if the machines are still around by then. It's also very much reminiscent of Kamen Rider Decade's cards.

The back shows the Takatoratah Combo chest symbol. Once you have the Ganbaride machine scan this card, you can play as this Rider in this form in the arcade game. ^_^

Petey meet...uh...Paulina? *nods* I have the 2010 remake of the original Megazord, so if this Pteranodon looks slightly off to you (especially if you still have the 1993 version), that's why. It's also the one with the more show accurate stickers. For once, Bandai America, I applaud your ability to make quality toys that didn't suck so much I wanted to stuff your own crappy products back down your stupid corporate throats. All my money goes to Bandai Japan these days because of that. Eeyup.

The top of the box shows Kamen Rider OOO in Putotyra Combo form, and the back shows the other Candy Toy Candroids and what Petey can do. But enough of that. Let's crack this thing open!

The reason why it's called a Candy toy is because it comes with one piece of candy per box. Unfortunately, this being manufactured in 2011 means it's expired by now. I think I'll throw this thing out, just in case it gives me indigestion.

OH MY GOD Petey, they decapitated you! *gasp* Quick everyone, we gotta put Humpetey Dumpetey together again!

Twilight Sparkle is here just to show you how small Petey really is compared to some of my other figures. He is in scale with all the little ponies...yes, he's really that tiny. Only slightly more than 2 inches tall!

A close up of the front of the can reveals a silhouette of a pteranodon, its name in English, and some gibberish, along with a pop the tab symbol to let you know you activate it by popping the tab. Duh. No grape soda included...sorry! ^^;

Transformation is easy, just split it open...

press a lever on its back to make the head pop down, pull down the tail, flip the wings, and adjust the tabs to make claws. Done. Easy.

Overall, Ptera Candroid does not disappoint. It transforms exactly like the DX sized toy and the only gimmick it lost was the ability to make a screeching like noise (more like rattling to me) when you took off its tail and dragged it along a series of gears in its body. I really like it, and I'm glad I got it. Again, a special thank you to Minako for getting this for me all the way from the UK. ^_^

EDIT: Also forgot to mention that the instructions for Petey are written on the inside of the box. XD You'll have to rip it open to see the transformation process clearly, not that anyone should need it, since transformation is so simple! :P
