I was so confused this episode. I totally expected plot dump and we barely touched on it. Ankh's hair, I totally liked that bit too. There's an ulterior motive behind Ankh giving Eiji his medals--some say it is to protect the medals in case he is captured, others say it is to lure Lefty out. "I'll explain after!"
