Hmm...weird. :\ Because I've never had problems with VLC not working with Over-Time's subs. O_o
Do you play the direct downloaded video, or have the RAW and subs separate?
the DDL links have the subs already on the video, so you don't have to download the script and slap it to the RAW yourself.
I always play the videos I get from the DDL links from Over-Time.
