Hungry, and wondering what's for lunch today? Have some Fish Sausage (and Weiners)! XD

I'll never get tired of LOLing over this commercial. I mean, seriously. One moment I'm like...ooh, this is a toy commercial or something...they gonna show off the hero and his abilities for the superhero-addicted kids...and the next thing I know, I see a package of sausage? REALLY?! O_O

Oh Japan...you and your hilarious commercials never fail to amuse me. :P

On a related note, speaking of commercials. I WANT MY OOO DRIVER, NOW! >:( *pouts as she watches a demo of said Driver, which can be found below the cut*)

Ooo awesome!
What courses did you take?
haha there are tons of OOO stuff I want/have seen xD

[identity profile] sparkywolf.livejournal.com 2011-04-08 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
This semester I'm taking a course on Cambodian history, Origins of the US Constitution, and my senior thesis seminar, and I'll be taking a course on Gender in Children's Literature in May.

And of course there are tons of OOO stuff I want too, but I can't afford to buy them all. :\

Wow Cambodian history; sounds amazing! I wish I'd taken history in high school instead of french ='[ Wow you get to do a lot of courses; I've noticed in American that you get to take more than one course at once or something every year don't you?
In England we can only chose one course and pick out topics within that course, which kinda doesn't bother me but I can understand why it would both others ^_^
Me too! I can't afford to spend any more of my money because it's nearly my birthday so I'm going to wait to see what money I get then and then spend it most of it =D

[identity profile] sparkywolf.livejournal.com 2011-04-08 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes you can take more than one course a year. ^_^; *gives you strange look* O_o

English customs must differ a lot from American customs, eh? XD

Here we can take up to four courses a semester (2 semesters per year: September to December, then January to May), all of which can be not related...but we do have required courses. We get one week for spring break in March, a couple of days off for Thanksgiving in November, and we take a month off for Christmas and New Year.

For example, one year I took two history courses, one science course, and a foreign language all in the same semester. And then took two history courses, one math course, and one elective the next. So there were lots of different stuff to learn all in one year. :D

But this also means a lot of homework. >.< My brain hurts! ;_;

Why give me a strange look xP
Yeah they do differ alot xD
Like for my course I'm doing Japanese but in it I'll do compulsory language but in it I can choose to do Japanese politics, society, history, literature etc. so it's similar but different.

We have one week off in October, 2 weeks at christmas, 1 week in feb, 2 weeks in April, 1 week in may and then between 6 - 12 weeks off (depending on whether you are at school, college or going to uni) between July and September.

Soo when you graduate, what will it say on your certificate/s?

[identity profile] sparkywolf.livejournal.com 2011-04-08 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
It'll likely say August grad on the certificate and diploma.

One week off in October, yeah, we get that too. Aw, you get more short breaks then we do! Mou!

Our college semester starts last week of August, really. But like, it's only 3 or 4 days shy of it actually being September, so I like to say our school year officially kicks off in September.

[identity profile] mystical-powers.livejournal.com 2011-04-08 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
What will it actually say? Because when I graduate mine will say "BA in Asia Pacific Studies"
But You guys do have 1st July and Thanks giving and everything ^_^

Schools start at the beginning of September where as Univeristys start the beginning of October.

[identity profile] sparkywolf.livejournal.com 2011-04-08 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"BA in History" Yep...that's pretty much it, I guess. ^_^

And our Independence Day is on July 4th, not the 1st. ^_^;

Universities start at the beginning of October? Man, I would kill to have September off too. :\

[identity profile] mystical-powers.livejournal.com 2011-04-09 10:34 am (UTC)(link)
O right xD I get confused on your holidays because obviously we don't celebrate them xD

Yeah but for some reason my course will start 16th September o_O Still super excited though! =] just need to study hard and get my grades ^_^

[identity profile] sparkywolf.livejournal.com 2011-04-09 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Let's both wish each other luck on our studies! ^o^

[identity profile] sparkywolf.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 09:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks!

BTW, I think my Dad just might get me my Tatoba Figuarts after all, after all that nagging and begging my sister and I just did in the car on the way to my dorm :D. Now to convince him that SH Figuarts Tajador needs to be brought too. I'm in love with the birdie. XD

[identity profile] mystical-powers.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
