Just trying to relieve some stress before the big essay writing marathon. So...
1. You know how to footnote or cite anything using Chicago Manual of Style
2. You constantly have a pile of history books at least 8 feet high lying around your dorm
3. You dread taking courses not related to history, like math and science.
4. You can ramble on and on about a specific time period you like for hours on end, until people tell you to shut up or call you a geek (or otherwise tune out and ignore you).
5. You know everything about a particular historical time period. See above.
6. "Useless trivia" is something you love to learn about (and impress people with).
7. Your favorite TV shows are documentaries, historical or otherwise.
8. You freak and geek out if you find references to your favorite historical figures or time period, or even culture, in pop culture and books. You then develop an obsession with said thing, place, or person (Ankh, I'm looking at you <3)
9. You try to read, write, or see anything and everything about your favorite historical time period/culture/ancient civilization, be it fiction or nonfiction. (For example, because I like Ancient Egypt, I read the Kane Chronicles, and am a fervent Stargate fan. I've even tried to learn how to read hieroglyphs...and sat through an entire translation of the Book of the Dead. Now I'm addicted to Kamen Rider OOO. Again, THANKS A LOT, Ankh. You really got me into this thing, didn't you? xP)
10. One of your favorite shows as a kid was Tutenstein. XD

Date: 2011-03-16 06:48 pm (UTC)I am so glad they Egyptianised (is that a word?) Ankh and gave him some eyeliner and Egyptian-style bgm. He was originally going to be named Ash (reminds me of Pokemon -_-).
I never watched Tutenstein but I was a big fan of Mummies Alive XD
